Delete your Artberry account

Artberry, by Artberry Tech Private Limited. Last updated: 17 October 2026

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open the Artberry app and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile picture, or your initials, at the top left of the Home screen.
  3. Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
  4. Tap Delete account, then confirm.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code we text to your registered mobile number, and tap Delete my account. Your account is deleted as soon as the code is verified.

On the website, sign in at artberry.in, open your profile, then Settings, and choose Delete account.

Delete your account by email

If you cannot sign in, email support@artberry.in from the email address on your account, or include your registered mobile number, with the subject "Delete my account". We will check that the account is yours, then delete it as described below within 30 days.

What is deleted

As soon as your account is deleted, we:

  • remove your name, mobile number, email address, profile photo and every profile detail, including your bio, city, category, languages, experience, age, gender, height, build, organization details and GSTIN;
  • delete your portfolio, availability, saved artists and gigs, profile views, notifications and one-time codes, take you off other people's saved lists, and stop all push notifications to your devices;
  • delete every chat message you sent;
  • take down your packages, gig posts and gig applications so that no one can see them, and remove the cover letters from your applications;
  • remove your name and contact details from your bookings; and
  • delete your profile photo and your portfolio photos and videos from our storage.

What we keep, and for how long

  • An empty account record. We keep your account ID, the date you joined and whether you were an artist or an organizer, so the records below still link up. It holds no name or contact details.
  • Booking records. The other person keeps their booking history, so each booking stays with its date, event type, city, venue, budget, notes and status, but without your name, number or photo.
  • Hidden copies of your packages, gig posts and applications, including any quoted rate, without your name or contact details, so the bookings linked to them still make sense.
  • Messages other people sent you. They stay in their chats; yours are gone.
  • Reports and blocks. Reports you made, reports about you, blocks, and our team's notes on them stay linked to your account ID, so we can deal with repeat abuse.
  • Server logs, which can include your IP address and account ID: 30 days. The access logs of the load balancer in front of our servers, which record IP addresses, are kept for 90 days.
  • Backups. Our database backups are kept for 7 days, and deleted photos and videos stay in our storage backups for up to 30 days. Copies already cached by our content delivery network, or saved by other people, can take longer to disappear.
  • Anonymous totals that cannot identify you, such as the number of bookings on Artberry.

We keep the account record, booking records, hidden copies, reports and blocks only as long as we need them for the reasons above, or to answer legal claims and lawful requests from the police, courts or government. We have not set a fixed period for them.
